Vest streamlining trial using diving time as a proxy for drag |

streamline the actuator |

Methods: Each diver made 10
dives, alternating with the other. The dives |
|
|
were made down the anchor rope to the bottom at
50 feet. |
|
|
Every effort was made to make the dive profiles
identical and |
|
|
each dive time was recorded immediately upon
surfacing. After |
|
|
10 divers, the divers exchanged the vest for no
vest and made
another 10 dices each for a total of 20 dives each. |
|
